A self-contained cozy cottage with all amenities
A two-bedroom tucked behind the villa — a wood stove in the snug, a porch that catches the morning sun, and facing garden.
🌿 The Cottage Retreat – Sleeps up to 6 Guests
Set privately away from the Villa, the charming self-contained Cottage Retreat offers its own peaceful escape with two comfortable queen bedrooms, a bathroom, a small kitchen (no dishwasher), and a spacious open-plan dining and lounge area with double-size sofa bed.
The light-filled living area overlooks sweeping lawns leading towards the Steavenson River and provides the perfect place to enjoy a morning coffee, read a book, stream your favourite shows, or simply relax while taking in the tranquillity of the surrounding Marysville State Forest.

Two rooms under the eaves.
The master bedroom with ensuite with a queen bed and a window onto the gully. Side tables with lamps for cosy night reading.

Tucked next to master bedroom
The Queen bedroom with queen bed and a window onto the gully. Side tables with lamps for cosy night reading.

The snug, and the stove.
One room, one stove, one deep sofa under the window. Books on the shelf, records on the player, the kind of small space that gets warm fast and stays that way.

A small kitchen that takes itself seriously.
Electric cooktop, a tiny but capable oven, a fridge that fits a week's groceries. The farmhouse table seats six if you squeeze; four with elbow room.

The porch in the ferns.
A covered porch wraps the east and south walls — two chairs, a small table, a kettle hook by the door. Beyond, the path drops twenty paces through the tree ferns to the shared river bank.

Or the villa, river-side.
Four bedrooms across two storeys, the great stone fireplace, and the deck that runs out over the water. Twice the cottage, eight guests, the same eight acres outside the door.
